Construction contracts generally comprise a complex collection of
documentation. We have 40 years of specialist experience, familiarity with
the terminology and first hand understanding of the implications of both what
is in writing and what is not in writing so as to critically evaluate the different
parts of a construction contract, identify potential problem areas and to draft
agreements that minimise such problems.
Post-Award Services
Despite the very best contract documentation, the nature of building and
construction projects is such that changes and unforeseen events are
inevitable. Dealing with these changes in the appropriate manner requires not
only an understanding of the parties’ rights and obligations but also sensitivity
to the commercial reality of the requirement to maintain cordial contractual
relationships as much as possible. This can only be achieved by having long
term, first hand experience of the day-to- day realities of building and
construction projects.
